The Scottish Storytelling Centre’s Statement on COVID-19/Coronavirus

At the Scottish Storytelling Centre we are monitoring the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation very closely. The safety and well-being of our visitors, participants and staff remain our number one priority and we are closely monitoring the latest advice from the Scottish Government, UK Government and Public Health Scotland. We will continue to update our plans based on the latest recommendations and, in the meantime, are working to implement a range of measures that will allow us to run our events and venue safely. At the moment all of our programmed events and activities, as well as our Café and Museum operations, are going ahead but should anything change, we will notify customers through our website, via email, and through our social media channels.

We appreciate that our customers may be affected by this developing situation so we would like to confirm the following:

  • If we are required to cancel any events all tickets will be refunded
  • If you wish to, or are required to, change your plans over the coming weeks we will offer a refund on your purchase if you notify us up to 24 hours in advance of your event. You can contact by emailing [email protected]

We also ask that all attendees to our building and events are mindful of regularly washing their hands using the soap provided and ask that visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling at all unwell.

The Storytelling Centre and TRACS teams are following advice each day and will adapt our plans if necessary, following the most up to date recommendations.
