Stories by the Light of the Shore with Ruth Kirkpatrick
Stories for this special time of midsummer, when earth is green, the day is long and the veil between the worlds of ‘everyday’ and ‘wonder’ is thin.
Come and lift your lockdown spirits, and join us from the comfort of
your own home for a midsummer special of Edinburgh’s monthly Guid Crack.
Guid Crack takes the form of a ceilidh session, with an open-floor
section for storytellers to tell their own tales, or bring a poem, song
or music to share. If you would like to share on the night please send
your host a message once you have arrived, with the name and style of
your offering (max 10mins).
Please click on the link below from 7.15pm on Friday 26 June. The event
is limited to 100 people so please arrive early to ensure attendance.
The stories will begin at 7.30pm.
We kindly ask for attendees who are able and willing to make a donation
towards the Scottish Storytelling Centre’s work, using a PayPal link
provided below, which you can use to contribute on the night or in
advance (please type amount from the right-hand side).
Thank you!
