Loud Poets: Life, uh, finds a way

Loud Poets

One of the UK’s most successful spoken word collectives return with
their monthly showcase of the UK’s top spoken word talent. This is make
some noise, fist-thumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heartwrenching
poetry. This is poetry for the masses.

Guests this month are: Esme Allman, Iona Lee poetry, Paul Case, and Jack Macmillan, who will perform work based on the show title, take part in a quick fire game, and wow the audience with a feature set, where each poet will perform a single piece with musical accompaniment from resident Loud Musician Jack Hinks. The show will also feature a special video every month from Loud Film.

‘Throughout there’s a humour, poignancy and most of all a confidence which serves to inspire.’ ★★★★ (Scotsman)

‘Eclectic is one word to describe the crowd, which arrived to be entangled in a moment of beautiful words.’ ★★★★★ (The Student)
