Join Sophie Stephenson and Joy Dunlop for a combined song and dance
workshop. Explore the relationship between Gaelic song and Scottish step
dance traditions, with a focus on phrasing and rhythm between singer and
dancer.
Participants will learn both Gaelic puirt à beul (mouth music)
and Scottish step dance, leaving them able to both sing and dance for
their supper!
Open to all singers and dancers regardless of experience.
Participants will take part in all aspects of the workshop, so bring a
bottle of water and a pair of hard-soled shoes.
