There’s more to Scotland than meets the eye, for amidst the bonnie hills,
craggy coasts and lush, green glens, dwell some truly curious beings.
Storyteller Dougie Mackay evokes the gnarly soul of Scotland as clan
chiefs, crones, fishermen and fools meet faeries, selkies, kelpies and
giants in a weirdly wonderful ceilidh of classic tales and local legends.
Bring an iron pin for protection, offerings of oatcakes to carry favour,
and watch out for a black dog or yellow-horned goat, as it just may be ‘he
who should not be named’ in cunning disguise…
