Transgressive North: Folk Film Gathering 2019

A rare opportunity to see all eight episodes of the seminal ITV adaption
of Alan Garner’s The Owl Service on the big screen.

Mixing folk tale, social commentary and young adult drama with a strong
commitment to place, follow the story of Alison and her stepbrother Roger
during their parents’ honeymoon in Wales.

The screening will be introduced with traditional harp music from Elinor Evans.
